Graphics One (GO), Burbank, CA, a developer and distributor of digital-imaging products, is launching the 42-in. RIO TX direct-to-fabric printer, developed specifically for the flag and banner market.

The RIO TX has been modified to image on multiple types of fabric with an integrated, high-performance, ink-delivery system. It also includes a fabric-dyring system and fabric media-handling system. The printer can also image on paper, which means the printer can print direct to fabric and from a paper transfer. The printer is bundled with Wasatch SoftRIP. GO also offers an optional 44-in. sublimator for curing imaged fabrics.

GO will introduce an ink later in the year to enable the printer to image on uncoated cotton, nylon, wool and other fabrics.

The Rio TX will ship May 1, 2009.
