Hexis (Frontignan, France) announced the latest release of its 2009 Digital Printing Glossary that clarifies the technical jargon of color management in digital-printing work.

The signage and visual communication-based glossary relates to inkjet media and materials. It features an inch/metric conversion chart and new vocabulary, plus revisions that relate to technology advances. It’s designed to illuminate such day-to-day, digital-print business measures as color profiles, ink, media types, printer technologies and basic facts about materials and adhesives.

Paper copies of the glossary are available from Hexis or its dealers or you may download a PDF-file from the professional page of Hexis’s website.

Hexis manufactures a full line of graphic vinyl and digital printing media used for sign making and vehicle markings. The company has subsidiaries in Germany, Italy and the United States and with affiliate Hexis companies in the Netherlands, Switzerland and the UK. It exports to more than 40 countries worldwide.
