HP Inc. is introducing its upgraded HP DesignJet Z-series portfolio by offering a 44-in. multi-roll printer and the company’s most affordable 24-in. graphics printer. The six-color, HP DesignJet Z5600 and Z2600 PostScript Printers feature reduced ink consumption and HP’s chromatic red ink that enhances the color gamut and the HP DesignJet Click software that enables one-click printing. Designed for small shops, retailers, corporations and GIS departments, HP says the Z-series are ideal for POP signs and posters. The printers also feature pigment-based HP Vivid Photo inks (water and fade-resistant), HP’s Professional PANTONE® color emulation with Adobe® PostScript®/PDF, HP-GL/2 and HP Multi-Dimensional Smart Drop Placement Technology, which HP says provides increased color accuracy and reliable operation of the printer.
