HP Graphics Solutions Business – Americas (Palo Alto, CA ) has announced David Murphy as marketing director. David came to HP from RISO Inc. (Danvers, MA), where he recently served as vp of marketing for the Americas. In his 18-year tenure there, he held strategic leadership roles in marketing, business development and sales management for the company’s channel and direct operations.
David has written for numerous publications on digital-production printing topics and has presented at various graphic-arts industry and market-segment conferences. He earned his master of business administration from the University of Phoenix and his bachelor of science in marketing from the University of South Florida. David is relocating with his family from Boston to San Diego.
He will report to Jan Riecher, Vice President and General Manager, Graphics Solutions Business – Americas
