HP (Palo Alto, CA) is expanding its Scitex printer line with two new models: the FB7600 industrial press and XP2500 industrial printer. The 10.5-ft., roll-to-roll XP2500 prints 3,500 sq. ft. per hour and is designed as a UV-curable alternative to solvent-ink printing; it is compatible with polyethylene media. The XP2500 has 16 printheads (CMY and black) and an 80-pl drop size.

The company is also offering EskoArtwork i-cut, print-to-cut software for the Scitex line, as well as Print Care. Print Care services include diagnostic and calibration tools, as well as maintenance reminders and remote assistance.
