Roland DGA Corporation (Irvine, CA) is unveiling its 64-in. SOLJET Pro II EX series printer. Additional printers in the series include the 54-in. SJ-540EX printer, 74-in. SJ-740EX printer and 54-in. SC-540EX printer/cutter. The machines print onto uncoated and coated media at up to 300 sq. ft. per hour at 450 dpi for the production of signs, banners, POP displays and vehicle wraps. They can also print up to 1,440 x 1,440 dpi with variable-droplet technology for photorealistic prints. Graphics produced on the printers are water, scratch and UV resistant for up to three years outdoors, the company reports.
