IPTLock Cloud-Based File Sharing

Computer service helps control views, downloads of files

Published

on

IPTLock (Purchase, NY) is a cloud-based computer service designed for file sharing as a replacement for FTP servers or programs like Dropbox. The company says that, unlike conventional file-sharing program users, file senders who use IPTLock maintain control over files sent. The service allows end users to make comments or changes to a document without being able to print, save or download it, the company says.

The program is designed to allow users to seek client feedback without giving up ownership of their work. File sharers can also set automatic expiration dates when sending files.
