Knifeless Technology Systems (Winnipeg, MB, Canada) is promoting its Knifeless Kit for vehicle wraps, which includes one roll each of Knifeless Finish Line, Knifeless Perf Line Tape and Knifeless Bridge Tape; scissors; squeegee; a Chizler tool; a Zippy cutter and an instructional DVD. Rolls of tape are also sold separately.

Knifeless Finish Line tape is 1/8 in. and conforms to bumpers, door handles and mirrors, the company says. Knifeless Perf Line tape is designed for use with perforated vinyls, such as those used in vehicle and window wraps. It leaves a 1/8-in. gap after trimming for seal-tape application. Finally, the company’s Bridge Line Tape, ½-in. thick, is designed for wide gaps between doors, seams and rubber seals.
The company says the tapes allow graphics installers to avoid cut marks caused by knives during application. The products are available from authorized dealers in North America and Europe.
