Mutoh unveils the Zephyr

Mutoh America Inc. is unveiling Zephyr, a wide-format, CMYK, 64-in., roll-to-roll, UV inkjet printer that can handle vinyl, flexible-face material, mesh and PVC. The machine incorporates a motorized system with dancer bars for media rolls up to 100 kg. Media transport tables can be placed at the back and in front of the machine for rigid printing on boards up to 20mm thick.

Zephyr uses four Xaar® 760 high-end, variable-drop grayscale heads, for droplets as small as 8 picoliters. The integrated, bulk-ink system offers a capacity of 3 liters of ink per color, can be refilled during printing.
