Laser Cutting Technical Guide

Spartanics (Rolling Meadows, IL) has produced a white paper entitled the Spartanics Laser Cutting Technical Guide. Written by Markus Klemm, the company’s R&D software engineer, the white paper is entitled "How to match today’s laser cutting technology to application requirements."  It’s divided into two parts.

Part I’s chapters include:

1) Choosing Between Laser Cutting vs. Tool-based Die Cutting Systems

2) Quality and the Soft Marking Standard;  and

3) Cutting Speed vs. Web Speed.

Part II’s chapters  include:

1) Fallacy of the Double Scan Head Advantage

2) Systems Integration, User-Friendliness and Production Output

3) Selecting System Components, and

4) Suggested Method for Sourcing Laser Cutting Technology.
