Laser-Engraving Tables

Provides cutting surface for thin or delicate substrates

Published

on

Graphic Parts Intl. (GPI), Chicago, is offering a vacuum, hold-down table for laser-engraving applications. According to the company, the tables are best suited to thin woods, paper and other substrates too delicate for conventional clamps. The tables comprise an aluminum honeycomb that enables optimal airflow and maximum strength on the top and bottom plates, the company reports. The non-oxidizing, aluminum tabletop resists warping, and the company also offers stainless-steel surfaces for tough applications, as well as phenolic-resin and Formica® surfaces for non-conductive applications. The company fabricates vacuum tables up to 250 sq. ft.
