Leggett & Platt Digital Technologies (Sunrise, FL) is offering the Virtu®HD8 superwide, hybrid UV printer, which offers roll-to-roll and rigid printing up to 98 in. wide by any length; it also accepts rigid substrates 8 x 8 ft. and larger and up to 2.5-in. thick. It prints directly to uncoated textiles without post processing. The closed CMYKLcLm+W system uses VirtuInks™ BioHueV™ pigmented, UV-curable inks and dyes and the optional HueV® flexible white ink; the inks are packaged in 5-liter, disposable, collapsible cubes.
