LexJet (Sarasota, FL) has announced a new sales and distribution partnership with Electronics for Imaging Inc. (EFI; Fremont, CA) to sell EFI wide-format printers and specialty printers to its North American customers.

According to a press release from LexJet, under this new agreement, which launches on Oct. 1, LexJet will sell EFI s wide-format product line of LED inkjet technologies, including the EFI Pro 24f and Pro 30f dedicated flatbed printers, the EFI Pro 32r+ roll-to-roll printer and the EFI Pro 16h hybrid printer.

“LexJet’s ability to offer its clients comprehensive solutions for imaging customers makes this an attractive partnership for EFI,” said EFI s Inkjet COO Scott Schinlever. “We look forward to creating new opportunities for customers working with LexJet, giving them even more opportunities in high-quality display graphics using our proven, advanced inkjet production technologies.”

This partnership is a win-win for both of us, said LexJet s Justin Lehman. It allows LexJet to enter into new territory by offering EFI’s quality line of wide-format printers. And it allows EFI to branch out to areas it may not have been able to by capitalizing on LexJet’s impressive presence in the market.”

LexJet will also represent several specialty EFI wide format printers, such as the EFI H1625-SD printer for digitally printed thermoforming applications, and the EFI H1625-RS for roadway signage printing.
