LogoJET (Lafayette, LA) has announced that its Inspira Series printer drivers are now supported in ONYX 25, the latest release of RIP and print workflow software from Onyx Graphics (Midvale, UT), according to a press release.

The integration gives LogoJET customers a validated path to operate within one of the print industry’s adopted RIP environments, used by print service providers in more than 100 countries for color management, workflow automation, and production reliability.

The collaboration was designed to support real-world production environments where accuracy, repeatability, layered printing and workflow efficiency are critical. Joint engineering validation confirmed support for the following:

  • White ink and varnish spot channel control
  • Printhead layering and multi-pass builds
  • Rotary workflows for cylindrical and tapered objects
  • Textured and dimensional printing applications
  • High-end decorated product workflows for packaging, awards, and promotional products

“Everything we do is centered around helping our customers build more efficient and more profitable production environments,” Josh McNaughton, vice president of technical solutions at LogoJET, is quoted in the press release. “Adding ONYX as a supported RIP expands what’s possible for our customers — especially in color-critical, production-driven environments where accuracy, repeatability, and automation are essential. It allows businesses to integrate LogoJET into workflows they already trust while maintaining the layering capabilities, application flexibility, and production performance our printers are known for.”

The integration reflects a multi-year collaboration between LogoJET and Onyx Graphics engineering teams, focused on creating a production-ready workflow for the growing direct-to-substrate UV printing market.

“LogoJET has built a strong reputation for helping businesses bring customization in-house, and as the direct-to-substrate market continues to grow, we’re proud to grow alongside them,” Peter Eze, director of global revenue and marketing, is also quoted. “Expanding RIP support for their latest drivers is a natural next step in a partnership we’ve valued for years.”

Driver development for LogoJET’s R-Series platforms is currently underway, with availability expected to follow.
