MACtac Graphic Products (Stow, OH) has added 16 colors to its MACmark® 8900 vinyl series. Intended for interior wall and window graphics, the material provides a low-gloss, soft-matte finish that, according to the company, is formulated to bond wit an array of smooth, painted wall surfaces. MACmark may also be removed up to two years after installation without damaging the underneath wall. The films comprise 2.8-mil vinyl coated with a removable, solvent-based adhesive that’s protected by an 83-lb., white, kraft liner.

The company is also adding three new films to its MACmark Tuning film repertoire. Offered as alternatives to paint, the textured-, matte- and glossy-finish films are designed for vehicle wraps and electronic accessories. New offerings include Sublime, a 3.4-mil, pigment, air-release film that’s available in 15 gloss and 15 matte colors and offers seven-year durability; Brushed Metals, a 5.5-mil, embossed, air-release film that offers five-year installation and is available in black, aluminum, steel, titanium and graphite; and, Special Effects, an iridescent or embossed film designed for vehicle-wrap effects. Available colors for the 3.9-mil, iridescent films includes pearl, green and fuchsia; the 8.6-mil, embossed-texture substrates are leather and silver moon.
