Monster Route (San Carlos, CA) is presenting its Trans Vision window film, which comprises high-definition, thermal-encapsulated (HDTE) media. Its production process entails saturated the film with UV dyes in a UV fluoride-based film that replicates paper, vinyl or plastic. The high-gloss film, which can be used for lightboxes and other, interior-illuminated applications, comprises six layers: printed transfer paper; a transparent, fluoride liner; an image-forming layer; a transparent, base-film layer; a transparent adhesive layer; and, a release liner. According to the company, the printed HDTE media offers strong water and UV resistance and will last indefinitely indoors and up to five years outdoor with minimal fading. Monster Route offers both coated and uncoated varieties.
