SC-540 offers cut-through, trimming improvements

Mutoh Europe NV (Oostende, Belgium) is revealing two upgrades to its SC-PRO cutting-plotter series. The machines now offer a cut-through function, which enables slicing the self-adhesive vinyl and backing-paper layers, and the trimming features offers the time-saving step of electronically cropping the substrate. To optimize the poster-trimming function, the operator should set four registrations marks using the SC-PRO’s integral laser.
