Neon Glass Connector

NewWave Innovations Inc.

Published

on

NewWave Innovations Inc. (Springfield, MO) is debuting the Glass Connector™ assembly for double-back neon applications. Designed for 0.250 GTO cable, the assembly uses molded 1/2-in., trade-size threads and maintains strength, according to the company. The product is 11/2 in. long with a 1/4-in. wall thickness to insulate the cable.

Glass Connectors can be secured with a locknut or threaded Zamac Connector™ that accepts a flexible conduit. A rubber, seal-tight kit seals around the glass and the cable to protect the connector from water when used outside. The product reportedly overcomes minor imbalances in the transformer loading, which reduces the risk of burning or shorting in wet, outdoor areas.
