Océ USA is presenting the Océ ColorWave 600 wide-format color printer, which is based on Océ CrystalPoint technology. The technology utilizes “toner pearls,” which can print high-quality prints on plain and recycled paper at a print speed of up to 31 seconds per A0. Media capacity extends to up to six, 42-in.-width rolls. Prints are reportedly water-fast for outdoor use. Suitable applications are short-term display graphics, such as short-term POP displays, courtroom graphics, event posters, architectural project presentations and artist impressions.
