Océ Announces Arizona 550 GT

Océ (Trumbull, CT) has announced its Océ Arizona® 550 GT, a UV-cure, flatbed printer, that, Océ said, is the its most productive Arizona model to date. The 550GT uses Océ’s VariaDot™ imaging technology and can print near-photographic quality. It will also produce, or POP-quality prints at 433 sq. ft./hr. , or thirteen 4 x 8-foot boards an hour, which enables users to print more than 100 four- by eight-foot boards in a single eight-hour shift. In Express mode, it will print 721 sq. ft./hr. or 176 boards on an eight-hour shift.
The true flatbed system will image on various, reasonably flat, rigid substrates measuring up to 49.2 x 98.4 in. and up to 2 in. thick. Océ also offers a white Ink option and a roll media option for printing onto flexible media up to 86.6 inches wide.
