Oklahoma City has installed a new sign commemorating Route 66’s centennial in the metro area, ABC KOCO 5 News reports.

Located in the area of Hudson Ave. and NW 23rd St., the Historic Route 66 Centennial sign was designed by VOX Audio Visual, a local full-service audio-visual company, in collaboration with Oklahoma sculptor Stan Carroll. It received funding from private donations and the Uptown District, and was installed on Nov. 26, marking the state with the most miles of the historic road in the nation.
