LED strips feature fast response times, low power consumption for signage and channel-letter applications.

OPTEK Technology (Carrollton, TX) is introducing a series of LED module strips for signage and channel-letter applications. The LED strips are available in three models:

?œ OVM18F4x7 Series 4 LED module strips comprise 30 modules per strip in lengths of 3 in. to more than 40 ft. The waterproof strips feature 1.5W power dissipation, 18V input voltage and an operating temperature range of -30° to +50° C.

?œ OVM12F3x7 Series 3 LED module strips comprise 20 modules per strip in lengths of 3 in. to more than 40 ft. The waterproof strips feature 1.5W power dissipation, 12V input voltage and an operating temperature range of -30° to +50° C.

?œ OVQ12S30x7 Series flexible LED light strips comprise 30 high-brightness LEDS per unit in lengths up to 16 ft. The red and yellow LED strips feature 2.7W power dissipation, while the green, blue, white and warm-white strips feature a 2.3W power dissipation, with a 12V input voltage and -30° to +50° C operating temperature range.

Available in red, amber, green, blue and white, the LED strips provide fast response times and low power consumption, resulting in low power requirements from circuit power supplies.

Typical applications for the LED light strip product include commercial channel lighting for signage applications, media illumination, large-area backlighting, POS displays, mood-setting decoration, landscape lighting and neon-replacement lighting.
