Paige Electric’s Channel-letter LED Cable, Through-Wall Wiring-Protection Device

Published

Paige Electric Inc.’s (Union, NJ) Signwire Cable Div. is announcing Paige Premium LED cable, an all-inclusive, channel-letter wiring method. Built-in bonding wire ensures NEC-code compliance, the company states. Designed for LED channel-letter applications, the cable is sequentially surface printed to show the exact footage used and what’s remaining. It meets UL’s 720-hour sunlight-resistant requirement, the company reports, and complies with all NEC requirement for electrical signage The Plus Premium LED cable is delivered in a totally recyclable carton, instead of on a reel.
The Paige Wall Buster, a two-part, through-wall wiring protection device, developed specifically for LED channel letters, decreases material costs by eliminating the need for large holes, because it requires only 9/16-in. holes for installation. The “snap-fit” design lowers labor costs by facilitating installation; the company says it takes seconds, rather than minutes or hours, to install. The UL-listed product has also been designed with no sharp, metal edges that might contact insulated conductors, thus minimizing potential wire-failure problems. The distinct design also mitigates code-enforcement issues that arise with other traditional products, the company states.
