The Professional Decal Application Assn. (PDAA), a 33-year-old organization that comprises vehicle-wrap and other vinyl-graphic installers, has merged with the Specialty Graphics Imaging Assn. (SGIA), which serves signshops and service providers that employ digital printing, screenprinting and other imaging technologies.

The PDAA will become SGIA’s Professional Decal Application Alliance, and will retain its acronym, dues, referral and certification structure. According to SGIA, PDAA members will benefit from such additional services as marketing resources, work-safety information and employment listings.

“This will allow the SGIA community to offer customers and clients the most extensive, total-imaging solutions available,” Michael Robertson, SGIA’s president and CEO, said.
