Stock-car racing and its top league, NASCAR, have transcended a good-old-boy image and become a sport that appeals to broad demographics. Its drivers frequently appear in a wide variety of product endorsements. Of course, vehicle graphics play a vital role in enforcing a product image in such advertisements.

GatorWraps (Las Vegas and Ontario, CA) fabricated seven vehicle wraps for a Budweiser commercial that features Sprint Cup driver Kasey Kahne. Rod Vogele, GatorWraps’ president, said they were referred because of their experience wrapping cars for the Richard Petty Driving Experience, which allows racing fans to ride shotgun around the track in a NASCAR-style vehicle with a qualified NASCAR instructor at speeds up to 165 mph.

GatorWraps produced the campaign using Avery Graphics’ MPI 1005 Easy Apply RS air-egress film and DOL 1000 gloss-finish overlaminate, which it output on a Mutoh ValueJet1604 64-in., eco-solvent-ink printer.
