Philips Lighting Electronics (Philips-Advance), Somerset, NJ, is offering its Xitanium LED Drivers featuring IntelliVolt multiple-voltage technology for channel-letter lighting. Available in 100W, 24VDC (LEDINTA0024V41FO) and 60W, 12VDC (LEDINTA0012V50FO), this family of drivers offers the Philips-Advance Intellivolt feature, which enables use of the same driver on both 120VAC and 277VAC systems without the need for additional step-down transformers. These drivers are also IP66-rated specifically to meet the tough, environmental requirements of sign lighting. The ballasts also feature a UL3R-rated enclosure (LED1003R15X3) for housing a single standard Philips-Advance driver. This enclosure, which is easy to assemble and install outdoors, has the proper UL markings to satisfy any field inspection requirements, the company states.
