International Light Inc. (Newburyport, MA) is offering the IL RPS-380 Portable Spectroradiometer. The compact instrument reportedly can perform color repeatability and brightness sampling within a few seconds. Suitable for testing LED display panels, illumination modules and large signage to ensure uniform color segments, the product provides data to yield color-rendering-index characterization. The product is powered by a USB cable connection to a laptop or PC. It’s designed for measurements in the 380 to 780nm spectral range with 5 to 10nm resolution.
