Blind Society vehicle takes a shot at a unique campaign.

For a sport as aggressive as hockey, you need an in-your-face campaign. To promote the Phoenix Coyotes ’07 season, Blind Society (Phoenix) took standard hockey phrase “the puck drops” and found new, larger ways to apply it. Viola! Make way for the Puck Truck!

The truck is partially wrapped, and, on its trips throughout the city, has magnetic game schedules for fans to take with them. It tows a car that’s been crushed by a massive puck; the crumpled mass of metal looking like it was parked beneath a hockey game played by giants.

Blind Society’s Jim Clark pointed out that the truck is a good way to interact with fans, or perhaps even create new ones. The entire Coyote campaign focused on interaction. “Instead of [fans] just looking, it said ‘Come here and participate,’” Clark said.
