R Tape Claritex Film

Coated PC suits POP, tradeshow graphics

R Tape Corp. (South Plainfield, NJ) is releasing Claritex®, a white, 10-mi, topcoated, polycarbonate film designed for eco-solvent, inkjet printing. Intended for POP, tradeshow booths, and transit-station advertising, the material features a proprietary, inkjet-receptive coating that permits heavy ink saturation, reduces dot gain and accelerates drying time, the company reports. Claritex may be printed with Epson Stylus Pro Series printers with UltraChrome GS inks; Mimaki JV3, JV33 and JV5 printers with ES3 inks; Mutoh ValueJet printers with Eco-Ultra inks; and Roland DGA Corporation VersaCamm VP-300, VP-540 and SolJet Pro II XC-540 printers with Eco-Sol Max inks.
