Rainier Industries (Tukwila, WA) is unveiling its System M4 exhibit-graphics system. The program comprises a printed, tensioned-fabric back wall and kiosk with color insert; a wireless Bluetooth-capable keyboard and mouse that link to an on-board Dell hard drive and four HD/DVI monitors; software preloaded to view Web-based media and DVS; LED spotlights, and a Web cam, among other features.

The company is also announcing its achievement of ISO-14001 certification, which the company terms “the premier certification in environmental stewardship.” Rainier purchases wood harvested only from sustainable forests and treated with non-solvent preservatives, has taken steps to reduce PVC-based fabric usage and prints with UV-cured, water-soluble inks. The company also developed an environmental-management plan that reduces solid-waste production, encourages efficient product design and packaging and enhanced its facility’s air quality, among other issues.
