Cooley offers UV- or solvent-printable, lightweight material

Cooley Sign & Digital Products(Pawtucket, RI) is introducing EnviroFlex™, a lightweight, recyclable, digitally printable media that can be solvent or UV printed. The company offers the following choices:

• 7-oz. EnviroFlex Frontlit Lite, a polyester-scrim material;

• 5-oz. EnviroFlex Lite High-Res, a nonwoven polyester media;

• 5.5-oz. EnviroFlex Polyflex Lite, a polyester-scrim substrate;

• 3.8-oz. EnviroFlex PolyPoster, a polyethylene material; and

• 3.8-oz. EnviroFlex PolyPoster High-Res, a nonwoven polypropylene media.

According to the company, the materials are up to 60% more lightweight than traditional media, can be fabricated seamlessly in lengths up to 196 in., and offer faster installations and reduced fuel costs. All media can be reused, and all but the EnviroFlex Lite High-res can be recycled using a process comparable to what the carpet industry uses to reclaim PVC carpet tiles.
