The TA resin ink developed by Roland DGA Corporation (Irvine, CA) for the Roland DG TrueVIS AP-640 Resin/Latex printer has achieved ECOLOGO certification, according to a press release.

The standard certifies that a product complies with strict environmental performance standards and has a low impact on environmental and human health. ECOLOGO is approved by UL, an organization with the aim of advancing global sustainability and environmental health through the development of environmentally beneficial products, services and organizations.

“We are very pleased, but not surprised, that the AP-640 printer’s TA resin ink has met UL Lab’s stringent requirements for ECOLOGO certification,” Roland DGA Product Manager of Digital Print Daniel Valade is quoted in the release. “The AP-640 is one of those rare inkjets capable of quickly delivering output that’s not only incredibly detailed and vibrant, but also environmentally friendly. That’s a powerful combination, especially for those who intend on using AP-640-produced prints in indoor settings.”
