The Specialty Graphics and Imaging Assn. (SGIA), Fairfax, VA, has released its Industry in Review: 2008 Annual Report. The report, available on www.sgia.org, covers what imagers are producing, the current sales-per-employee ratio for each industry segment and the newest equipment being purchased by digital imagers.

The culmination of all the 2008 SGIA Surveys and Statistics reports, the annual resource profiles each industry segment: graphic producers, garment decorators, industrial-use printers and finishing. It also contains a thorough overview of the industry in 2008 in the context of the overall U.S. economy.
