Sign Hardware-USA (McPherson, KS) is presenting its patent-pending VacRuler vacuum-holddown ruler, which measures corrugated plastic, composite material and other sheet media and secures them with a suction system for cutting. According to the company, this eliminates the need to clamp the ruler or require a second person to secure the substrate while cutting. Sign Hardware USA’s rulers comprise a powdercoated, aluminum extrusion with a rubber base and standard and metric markers. Sign Hardware produces the rulers in 30, 50, 74 and 98-in. lengths; custom sizes are also available.
