Bird-X Inc. (Chicago) is offering Virkon S, a virucidal disinfectant designed to stop the spread of fungi, viruses and bacteria carried through bird excrement. The product is USDA-tested, environmentally friendly and biodegradable, the company reports. It can be used on such surfaces as rooftops, floors, walls, ledges, balconies and signs. The product doesn’t require rinsing.
