Onyx Graphics Inc. (Salt Lake City) is announcing a SmartApps™ Sign&Banner plug-in for Adobe® Illustrator®. The company says the software will speed and simplify set-up of wide-format signs and banners in Illustrator, and is based on customer requests. The plug-in has a double-sided bleed feature that automatically assigns correct bleeds for two-sided applications. Compatible with Adobe Creative Suite 3, 4, 5 and 5.5, the plug-in can be used with any wide-format, RIP software, the company says; Onyx RIP software isn’t required.
