USSC Honors Perry Cook

The United States Sign Council (Bristol, PA) has awarded the Fred Wieder Memorial Award for Service Above Self to Perry Cook of Perry Cook Signs (Richlands, VA). Cook is the 11th recipient of the award, which celebrates selfless contributions to the sign industry in both personal and professional ways. Wieder was a rabbi and an active member of the sign industry who helped form the USSC. Cook earned the award for his volunteer service as a board member, and vice president and president for the USSC’s board of directors. In addition, Cook has long been active as a USSC Sign World volunteer, working in the show’s Bullpen to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City.
