GCC introduces the StellarJET 183UV

GCC (Taipei Hsien, Taiwan) has introduced the StellarJET 183UV curable inkjet printer, which is capable of printing on both rigid and flexible substrates up to 72 in. wide and 1 in. thick, with a printing speed up to 196 sq. ft./hr. It has a hybrid media-handling system which includes a built-in flatbed and a heavy-duty auto roll-fed, which prints on long banners and adhesive vinyl.

Equipped with Konica Minolta piezo printheads’ drop-on-demand technology, the printer achieves resolutions of 720 x 720 dpi and 1,440 dpi with Lc and Lm. It comes with CMYK and the options of white solution, varnish solution, and Lc and Lm solution.

Other features include compartmented vacuum fans; a dual-UV, lamp-curing system with shutters; a continuous, UV-curable ink supply, and more.
