Jacob Rieskamp Signs of the Times March 2006 Issue

Durst Phototechnik AG (Dusseldorf, Germany), its U.S. division being Durst U.S., is introducing the Durst Rho 205/16 flatbed UV inkjet printer/press. The printer is a version of the Rho 205, but with 16 printheads and three, output-productivity settings to double the printer’s output, the company reports. The 80-in.-wide, industrial-professional device can print 380 sq. ft. per hour at 360 dpi in standard productivity mode. It will print on boards and various other media up to 1.55 in. thick and 110 lbs.
