Vehicle Project of the Day: Sehr Gut Graphics

Germany’s Timber Signs whets the appetite with this vehicle

Published

on

Timber Signs (Ofterschwang, Germany) fabricated graphics for this three-vehicle fleet wrap, which mimics the entry signage of the customer’s restaurant. To develop the program, Manfred Didier, Timber’s proprietor, used Gerber Omega and Adobe Photoshop (with Fireworks plug-in) software. Then, he fabricated the wrap using a Roland DGA Corporation SolJet solvent-ink printer for the primary graphics, and a Gerber EDGE thermal-transfer printer to produce the phone number and tagline. He produced the wrap with Oracal 751 and 3M Controltac film, and protected it with Zeronine’s Frogskin clearcoat laminate.
