3M Graphics Market Center (St. Paul, MN) is debuting its 2-mil Controltac™ IJ380 and 1.2-mil Scotchcal™ 8580 gloss overlaminate for “extreme” vehicle wraps. According to the company, the film carries no “memory” of its original form and, therefore, can be applied to deep channels and concave areas without edge lifting. The films also permit installers to improve productivity by bridging channels and concave areas before stretching the films into place. Both products carry a three-year warranty.
