Wasserman (Los Angeles), a global sports, music and entertainment company, announced today that bluemedia, acquired in March, has rebranded as Wasserman, according to Wasserman’s website.

The bluemedia team will operate under the banner of Wasserman Live, Wasserman’s branding and signage, custom fabrication, live event production and experiential operations division. Wasserman Live now has two print production, signage and fabrication facilities in the US, significantly expanding its footprint in the region and further increasing its capacity to service clients, per the website.

“This rebrand marks the next step in our expansion journey, strengthening Wasserman Live’s brand presence in the US and complementing the existing services we deliver in that market,” Alastair Bewick, group managing director of Wasserman Live, is quoted on the site. “We have spent the last few weeks integrating the businesses and it’s already clear to see the power of our combined expertise and reach which will only allow us to best serve our new and existing clients.”

“Being part of a business as wide-reaching and well known as Wasserman is truly exciting. The additional services and capabilities we can provide to our clients through this acquisition is ample and we’re looking forward to starting this new chapter as part of TeamWass,” Gina Patel, group vice president of Wasserman Live and former president of bluemedia, is also quoted.

The acquisition of bluemedia adds 120 employees and 250-plus new clients to Wasserman Live’s US market, accelerating its global growth.
