Watchfire Announces New COO

Watchfire (Danville, IL) has appointed Mark Oggero as its chief operating officer, according to a press release. 

Oggero holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Iowa State University. He previously worked in senior positions at Cooper Industries, a global electrical products manufacturing company, where he gained experience in operations to general management. He then served as vice president of global operations for consumer electronics company TE Connectivity. His senior management experiences span Goss International, Dynamics Inc. and most recently Rain Bird.

“Mark comes with extensive operations and business experience covering a range of manufacturing environments, including highly industrial and sophisticated electronics assembly. His proven track record aligns perfectly with the demands of Watchfire’s diverse and expanding operations. I am confident that Mark will play a pivotal role in continuing to drive operational excellence and supporting our aggressive growth trajectory,” Watchfire President and CEO Steve Harriott is quoted in the release.

At Watchfire Oggero will oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, supply chain management and process optimization. He will also be tasked with establishing strategies and developing capabilities for the LED display market.
