West System Six10® Epoxy

Published

on

West System (Sebastian, FL) is announcing Six10® thickened epoxy adhesive. This two-part, pre-thickened epoxy is housed in a chambered tube with resin on one side and epoxy on the other. When the product is dispersed through a static mixer, it mixes the resin and epoxy. The resultant adhesive can be dispensed with a caulking tube.

Designed for use with wood, metal, fiberglass and concrete, Six10 can be worked for 42 minutes before it begins to cure. Minimum application temperature is 50º F.

One cartridge of Six10 will produce a 40-ft. bead of epoxy if the static mixer is left at a 1/8-in. diameter, the company reports. The mixer can also be cut to 3/16 or 1/4-in. diameters.
