WP Digital Introduces the Virtu RR50 Roll-to-Roll UV Printer

WP Digital (Wittenbach, Switzerland) has launched the Virtu RR50 roll-to-roll, UV printer that prints flexible substrates up to 5-meters wide. The piezo, drop-on-demand inkjet technology can achieve up to a 1,200-dpi (addressable) resolution. The RR50/36 is designed with 36 print modules for applications involving up to six colors (CMYKLmLc); the RR50/48 is equipped with 48 print modules for up to six colors plus white. .

An optional reel lift enables operation from the front, back or from one side. The Standard option loads from the back and unloads at the front; the Front option loads and unloads at the front; the Back option loads and unloads at the back.
