Mimaki USA (Suwanee, GA) is releasing the Solid Printer SP-303, which can print on dimensional objects, such as spheres, cubes, cones and helmets. Printable areas must be flat or convex. It can print on a minimum 75mm-radius hemisphere or a 75m-radius cylinder, and a maximum 380mm-diameter/300mm tall cannon shape. The CMYK + White + Clear printer uses UV LEDs to cure flexible-UV ink.
