Atoglas of Atofina Chemicals Inc. (Philadelphia) is introducing Plexiglas® LD acrylic sheet for LED-illuminated indoor or outdoor signs and channel letters. The product was designed with diffusivity properties to hide pinpoint patterns of light from LED sources. Plexiglas LD features clarity, weatherability and a light weight.

The company is also presenting Plexiglas EliT II edge-lit acrylic sheet. Reportedly brighter than the earlier version, EliT II contains an additive that scatters light from the sheet edges to diffuse it to the display surface. Available in 5 and 10mm thickness, the sheet may be curved at a minimum 20-in. radius.
