Iwata-Medea Inc. (Portland, OR) is offering its Eclipse G6 Airbrush with a Pistol Grip. The airbrush includes a long, tapered needle for a reportedly smooth transition from fine to wide background spray. The G6 uses a dual-purpose air cap and a fan-adjustment valve. It can be used with a regular 1/2-horsepower airbrush compressor instead of a 3+ horsepower unit. The product is equipped with a special fitting for use with an airbrush bottle instead of a gravity-feed cup.

The company also is introducing its Iwata Custom Micron CM-C Plus airbrush. The product features Micro Air Control, which enables infinite airflow control at the head of the airbrush for control of stippling, fine details and finely atomized background spraying.

Featuring a pre-set/cutaway handle, the product allows precise paint flow and quick cleanup, the company reports. The airbrush also offers solvent-proof, Teflon-needle packing for paints and a funnel-shaped, gravity-feed cup.
