Wrap This Ink decorated this 45-ft. Zephyr motorcoach to promote this Salt Lake City-based hair salon’s Orlando location, as well as its charitable contributions and affiliation with the Paul Mitchell Schools. Wissig’s design – executed with Adobe’s Creative Suite 4 – artfully incorporates the logos and imagery, elegant flora renditions and a cool, yin/yang sensibility. Wrap This Ink printed the job on 3M’s Controltac with Comply v3 air-egress film with a Mutoh Toucan 64 LT. 3M’s 8518 glossy overlaminate sealed the deal.

WVU wanted to tout the eco-friendliness of its Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) system with a ’60s-themed, “flower power” motif. Gibson obliged using SA Intl.’s FlexiDesigner and Adobe Illustrator. Sign Factory produced the wrap on its Mimaki JV3-160SP solvent-ink printer with Arlon’s 6000X 2-mil, cast film that’s coated with Arlon’s 3220 overlaminate.

Kings Island/Cedar Fair

Kings Island’s management ordered six, full bus wraps to be unveiled on the amusement park’s opening day to promote the Diamondback, its new rollercoaster. According to Kramer, Advertising Vehicles initiated the concept of linking the buses together to simulate the slithery appearance of a giant rattlesnake. The company fashioned the wrap with Lexjet’s BUSart 4-mil vinyl that’s decorated by the shop’s HP TurboJet 8300 printer and coated with 3M’s 8519 luster-finish overlaminate.
