Boeing Unveils New Wichita Sign

Boeing has unveiled new signage in its hometown Wichita, KS following acquisition of Spirit AeroSystems, KWCH 12 News reports.

Spirit teased the new sign last week by covering Boeing’s signage with its own branding. On the morning of Dec. 11, the new Boeing Wichita sign was unveiled to mark the company’s $4.7 billion deal. The sign also marks Boeing’s return to Wichita after leaving the city 20 years ago.

Spirit AeroSystems’ commercial and aftermarket operations in Wichita, Dallas and Oklahoma will begin to integrate into Boeing, KWCH reports.
